Our History

Munar Learning Center (MLC) is a grassroots organization established in 2018 to address issues faced by Somali refugee and immigrant families in our community. MLC’s focus is education because we believe that the number one indicator of academic success is the engagement of students and parents with schools and the education system. One of the things that we do is to inform, educate, and create bridges between Somali refugees and immigrant parents and the education system.

Mission

To inspire lifelong learning and to strengthen our community economic and social success.
