- Strong non-profit management, Coaching, Conflict Resolution, and Facilitation skills
- Dedicated to community development and Capacity-building background
- She graduated from Somali University Medical School, the University of La Sapienza in Roma, and Saskatchewan University in Saskatoon, SK.
- Strong advocate for refugees and Newcomers and dedicated to Equity and inclusion for all
